Simple WOW Mining Guide for Gold and Copper

The World of Warcraft (WOW) is an exciting strategy game where you need a good WOW mining guide to improve your character’s skills to mine. Each character in the game has different professions and mining skill is required with the blacksmithing, engineering and jewel crafting professions.

The character’s skill to mine is an integral part of their ability to excel in their quest to master the World of Warcraft. They need to mine ore, metal deposits and gems along their journey in order to save money instead of buying these materials.

Additional skills on smelting and finding material deposits are also needed. The skill needed by the character to find the materials is in its use of radar that can passively alert the character for a mineral deposit nearby. Learning to smelt is essential to convert ore into usable materials. This can be done in forges that are found in populated regions.

What You Will Need in Mining

The ability to mine will depend on your mining pick. This tool is what you need to start mining with. Purchasing a cheap pair of glove is an optional but recommended option. You must have your skill enhanced to a +5 mining skill. A Goblin mining helmet is necessary for the engineer since it adds +5 mining skill to the character. You should also keep in mind before starting mining that ores are only found on the side of the hills so you must follow the trail along the hillsides.

Where To Mine Copper

There are about 40-50 copper ore deposits around the hills of Mulgore. Just follow a path encircling the hills and you will find abundant supply of copper. You can also follow the route to Orc and Toll where small routes are also abundant with copper. You can start from the Orgrimmar gates and head east to reach Skull Rock where you can mine ore then head south to reach Orc and back to West side to reach the coast. Then head north on the cliff face then go east to go back to Orgrimmar. You can mine about 30-40 copper ore deposits along this route.

Where To Mine Gold

When mining for gold you can also mine iron as well. When mining gold at Desolace and you are Horde your starting point should be at Shadowprey Village. Head to Valley of Spears until the Kodo Graveyard. In the east you will find Magram Village and you can go around to the Shadowbreak Ravine until you reach the Mannoroc Coven. Go on west to Gelkis Village to go back to your starting point.

Alliance should begin their quest from the Nijel’s Point and go southeast to Sargeron and head south to Kolkar Village. You can then head west to the Kodo Graveyard then go northwest to the Ethel Rethor, northeast to Thunderaxe Fortress and north to Tethris Aran and go east to reach the Nijel’s Point.

These basic routes are simple WOW mining guide for uncovering abundant areas where you can mine gold and copper.
